Footprint Cleaner
Shrink what the internet knows about you, one tick at a time. Work through the six steps in any order, skip what doesn't apply. Your ticks are saved in this browser only; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
01 · Find yourself
See what a stranger sees. Write down every page that shows your name, address, phone number or photo: that's your list for steps 03 to 05.
02 · Lock down what you keep
Accounts you still use can stop collecting and showing more than they need to.
03 · Delete old accounts
Search your inbox for "welcome" and "confirm your email" to find accounts you forgot. Download your data before you delete. Mark the ones you never had as not mine, so they drop out of your total.

04 · Opt out of data brokers
Data brokers collect and sell profiles of people who never signed up. Use a spare email address for opt-outs. Many relist you after a few months: step 06 sets a reminder.

05 · Ask companies to erase your data
For companies that hold your data without an account you can delete. Pick them, fill in your details once, and send one Art. 17 GDPR letter to each from your own email app.
Pick at least one company above.
06 · Keep it clean
A footprint grows back. These keep new data from piling up.
